Frits is an awarding winning Norwegian illustrator. He studied interactive media in Vancouver for two years before going to The University of West of England in Bristol to study illustration. He received a first class honours degree.
Frits works in several styles, he loves detailed and intricate drawings with natural colours, using light and textured effects. In 2008 Frits worked for Storm Studios, the Oscar winning animation studio and in 2009 won the Macmillan Prise for his picture book ‘The Day Light Owl’. His second book, ‘The Rascal Robot’ was highly commended.
Frits is currently based in Oslo, working on ‘Hog World’, an Interactive digital story, ‘IS’ for short, and other digital projects.
